These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the TradesBrain app and this website. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

TradesBrain provides Rex, a co-pilot that offers diagnosis help, code references, and report and quote generation for trade professionals.

2. Rex informs your judgment — it does not replace you

Rex is a professional aid, not a substitute for your training, your licence, or your professional judgment. You remain responsible for the work you perform and the decisions you make on the job.

Codes are adopted and amended locally. Rex's answers include a reminder to verify adoption with your Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ); you are responsible for confirming the applicable requirements for your specific job. TradesBrain does not guarantee outcomes and is not a licensed contractor, engineer, or code authority.

3. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription from within the app; access continues through the end of the paid period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by:

  • Using it unlawfully or to violate the rights of others.
  • Attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access.
  • Relying on Rex's output where doing so would be unsafe or unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

The TradesBrain service, including Rex and its content, is owned by TradesBrain. You retain ownership of the content you submit and grant us the permissions needed to operate the service.

6. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

Rex is a professional aid and does not guarantee outcomes. You are responsible for the work you perform and the decisions you make. The service is provided on an “as is” basis to the extent permitted by law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with the applicable legal process.
